On Thursday, November 12, Jeff Bartkovich participated in Digital Rochester’s CIO Roundtable. The event entitled, “Building For The Upturn” featured four regional chief information officers in a discussion on how their organizations are preparing for “what’s next” despite the current economic climate. The CIOs represented transportation, health care, proprietary colleges, and public higher education. Topics included ways to leverage information technology for operational efficiency, technology systems to enhance production systems, and ways organizations are innovating today to prepare for tomorrow. The CIOs also addressed data security and governmental compliance issues.
