Wednesday Message

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I simply wish to thank all of you for the remarkable work you do every day on behalf of our students.  When Thursday rolls around, the unfortunate truth is that no one will hold a parade in your honor or hoist a giant balloon in your likeness; no one will open their store at midnight to hold a sale celebrating the accomplishment of that one student who finally had a light bulb shine over his or her head because of your efforts; no one will score a touchdown and mouth your name to the camera because you pointed the way to the right class, the right major, or the right career.  But, please know that each moment of each day at MCC your commitment to our mission, our community, and our students is making the future a better and brighter place—and that is worth a thousand thanks.  So, have an extra slice of turkey or pumpkin pie and smile!

Who would you like to thank?  Share your thoughts on the blog at: <https://www.monroecc.edu/blogs>!
