Dianna Phillips, dean of Technical Education, appeared in a segment on local career opportunities in advanced manufacturing for the WXXI program “Need to Know,” which aired at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9. It was rebroadcast at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11.
Carlet Cleare, public affairs reporter and producer for WXXI, interviewed Phillips about MCC’s technical education and training programs and other services that MCC provides to students and the community in support of the advanced manufacturing industry in the region. The broadcast included commentary from Michael Mandina, CEO of Optimax Systems Inc., and showcased technicians on the job.
