Rather than write a lengthy message, I thought I’d call your attention to a recently launched online course, one of the much vaunted or reviled (take your pick) Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) that you may have been reading about. It’s titled “Current/Future State of Higher Education,” and is sponsored and organized by an intriguing mixture of entities -- from foundations to universities to The Chronicle of Higher Education. It began on Monday, so there is plenty of time to join at https://edfuture.net/. The audience is international, inter-sector, and academic/nonacademic.
If you do register for the Ed Future class, I would be interested in your thoughts about the content, interaction, engagement, and more. As this course progresses, I will share some of my thoughts as well.
