Wolk Groundbreaking in Brighton-Pittsford Post

Messenger Post reporter Bryan Roth interviewed Frank Rinehart, dean of science, health and business, and Laurel Sanger, RN, chair of the nursing department, for his article "MCC breaks ground on new nursing facility."  Published in the Aug. 15 issue of the Brighton-Pittsford Post, the article includes information on the new Louis S. and Molly B. Wolk Center for Excellence in Nursing.

Within the article, Dean Rinehart reflected on the impact of private philanthropy on MCC's nursing program. "All of these things come together in recognition of the crucial role we play in the community because we are the largest local educator for nurses."

The Wolk Center is made possible by a $2 million gift from the Louis S. and Molly B. Wolk Foundation.
