Please inform your students of the new Fast Track MTH 104 (Intermediate Algebra) and MTH 165 (College Algebra) combined course, offered in the Fall 2017 semester. This co-requisite course is designed to help students progress through their MTH 104 and MTH 165 algebra sequence in one semester. Fast Track interweaves the concepts of MTH 104 and MTH 165, builds the foundational skills needed for upper level courses, offers students a steady path to completion, as well as the benefits of a learning community.
Fast Track is a 7-credit course, consisting of linked sections of MTH 104 and MTH 165. Students must only meet the prerequisite requirements for MTH 104 in order to register. Please see the attached poster for more information.
Fast Track MTH 104 and MTH 165 combined prerequisite:
MTH 098 with a grade of C or higher or
MTH 099 with a grade of C or higher or
MCC Level 6 Mathematics Placement
