TV Advertising Starts Next Week

MCC will begin advertising on local commercial and cable television starting July 31. MCC spots will appear during shows including America's Got Talent, America Ninja Warrior, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Ellen, World of Dance, Gymnastics Championships, and more.

A digital billboard will reach west side commuters heading into Rochester on I-490E.

Radio will continue, with an increased number of commercials airing through August 21.

The digital campaign, with Facebook, Instagram, and display ads that appear on various internet sites, will continue. The campaign also includes Google keywords and retargeting, which is delivering ads to visitors to www.monroecc.edu

Radio remotes -- when radio stations broadcast live at MCC to drive traffic to our campus - will also continue in August. WPXY will broadcast live on August 3 at the Instant Application Event at Downtown Campus and on August 19 at Brighton Campus during special Saturday hours for Enrollment Services. WDKX will broadcast live at Downtown Campus on August 24.

Direct mail continues with projects including:

  • Application package to prospects who have previously been accepted to MCC but never attended MCC or any college or university. This package will include an application already filled out with prospect name and address, making it easy to complete and return.
  • A "Still Time to Apply" reminder notification to 25,000 plus prospects.
  • An invitation to former students who did not complete their degrees to return to see all that MCC has to offer.
  • A reminder mailing to continuing students who have not yet registered for fall.

Word-of-mouth advertising is important, so please encourage your friends and family members to consider MCC.
