Registration of Three New Programs by NYSED


The College has received notification of the registration of three (3) new programs by the New York State Education Department for Fall 2017.

Apprentice Training: Automotive Toyota T-TEN, A.A. S. (HEGIS Code 5306)
The T-TEN program prepares students to be certified Toyota, Scion and Lexus Technicians. The program utilizes classroom study, extensive hands-on lab activities and dealership experience to create a comprehensive manufacturer education. Students work with the latest technology, tools and equipment and graduate with Toyota and industry certifications.

Personal Trainer/Fitness Instruction Certificate (HEGIS Code 5299.30)
This is a two-semester certificate program designed to prepare the student to enter the fitness industry. This is an ideal program for individuals who desire certification as personal trainers and fitness instructors, or for individuals who would like to expand their knowledge and skills in fitness for use with athletic teams, individual or group client situations, or personal development. Upon completion of this certificate students will be prepared to take the Cooper Institute Certified Personal Trainer (CI-CPT), the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer and the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) Personal Trainer Certification.
