East High School students earn 111 college credits at MCC

Testing Services welcomed 16 bilingual East High School students to the Brighton Campus on Monday to complete College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams. The students collectively earned at least 111 college credits.  After testing, they also received a presentation on career opportunities for bilingual graduates from Pamela Lazio, Career Services.  Hispanic students who complete prior learning assessment (PLA), such as CLEP, are nearly 800% more likely to earn a bachelor’s degree than Hispanic non-PLA students (The College Board). https://clep.collegeboard.org/benefits-and-results
