MCC Students Compete at NY Wine & Culinary Center

MCC Hospitality Management students put their culinary skills into action over spring break. The NY Beef Council hosted a two-day culinary competition with six NY based schools. Jake Fisher, Ryan McIntosh, Kristofer Poorman and Bill Gill, from MCC, attended the two-day Beef Culinary Competition in Canandaigua, NY. The team spent day #1 touring local beef farms, Wooded Acre Farm and Wilson Beef Farm. Day 2 was spent at the NY Wine & Culinary Center hearing from some of the best professionals within the Beef industry; they then put their culinary skills to work, transforming a sub-primal beef to a creatively prepared appetizer and entrée.
