TCC: Adjunct Supper for Success - Assessment Techniques from the School of STEM

The Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) invites you to an evening workshop and dinner on Wednesday, April 11 from 5-6:30 in Monroe B.

Why Do I Need to Know This? Assessment Techniques from the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) facilitated by Mary Jo Vest, Biology

Many of the disciplines in the School of STEM require hands-on application of theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world problems modeled in a laboratory experience. This presentation will provide examples of activities and digital supplements designed to help students "pull it all together" and recognize the applicability of material in their courses to their intended professions.

Consider joining adjunct Faculty Association representative, Jodell Raymond, from 4:30 - 5 to learn more about your union. Ask questions, make connections and put your name in for the $150 raffle basket!

Register by 4/3: https://qeasttrial.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_57pTUGaF2Ibq2RT

The Suppers for Success workshops are designed to meet the needs of our adjunct faculty. Please join us for dinner and a professional development workshop three times each semester. Dinner starts at 5:00 pm, and the program starts around 5:15. Check in opens at 4:45. Coming from class? Don't worry, you are welcome to slip in even if you have to be late.
