Thinking College? Think MCC's New Downtown Campus

The marketing campaign to promote the opening of the new Downtown Campus is underway.

With a theme of "Thinking College? Think MCC"s New Downtown Campus," the campaign includes the following:

Web - www.monroecc.edu/downtown went live two weeks ago, with targeted content on all the benefits and features of our beautiful new campus, including programs.

Radio - A new radio commercial started running Monday, June 5, encouraging prospects to get a little urban cool and apply.

Bus Shelters - Downtown campus posters will emblazon bus shelters in targeted downtown zip codes.

Digital - A digital marketing campaign kicked off last week with Google keywords (search terms). It expanded with advertising on Facebook and Instagram earlier this week, highlighting the programs at the new campus. Ads will also target prospects surfing the internet who fit the downtown campus target. Visitors to the College's website will also be targeted for digital advertising.

Summer Jam Sponsorship - MCC is a sponsor of WPXY's Summer Jam concert at Frontier Field on June 15. Admissions will staff a booth at the event and give away MCC bracelets.

Print - A print ad will appear in today's Rochester Business Journal, in the School Report Card special section.

Direct Mail - Targeted direct mail will be sent starting this month promoting events for prospective students.

Outdoor - A promotional sign went up on the first day of the baseball season at Frontier Field. A billboard will be placed on I-490E, near Child Street, in August.

While the above tactics kicked off over the past few weeks, the new Downtown Campus has been promoted throughout the past year with its inclusion in all marketing and admissions materials.

The campaign is the result of the teamwork and dedicated effort of the entire Marketing and Community Relations team, with help from Student Services, Academic Services, Downtown Campus, Enrollment Management, Admissions, and EDIWS.

Please encourage your friends and family thinking college to think MCC's new Downtown Campus.
