WXXI Connections Highlights First-Generation College Students

On June 7, MCC student Kimberly Statt, an addictions counseling major, participated in a WXXI-AM Connections with Evan Dawson discussion on the challenges faced by first-generation college students. Host Evan Dawson interviewed Statt along with students from St. John Fisher College and Rochester Institute of Technology and explored how first-generation students carve their own paths to success.
