AAWCC - Helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina


As we are all inundated with the reality of the situation that Hurricane Katrina has brought, many of us are moved to respond with a helping hand. AAWCC is also interested in helping. We have compiled the following list to assist you in making your donations as well as resources that may be useful for anyone assisting someone who has been directly affected.

For those interested in making a safe on-line monetary donation, you can do so directly to the American Red Cross at https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation-form.asp. If you prefer not to make your donation on-line, the phone numbers below are agencies ready to take your donations:

FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, listed the following agencies as needing cash to assist hurricane victims:
