Join us Monday, March 14th as MCC welcomes NASCAR K&N Series Rookie of the Year Darrell Wallace, Jr. and Revolution Racing’s Drive for Diversity Program Competition Director Andy Santerre at the Applied Technologies Center.
Wallace, the youngest driver and first African American to win in NASCAR K&N series history, is currently a development driver for Joe Gibbs Racing as well as with the NASCAR Drive for Diversity program. He finished third in points in 2010 and was featured on the Black Entertainment Television (BET) series “Changing Lanes.”
Come prepared with questions & comments, these sessions are interactive – it will be you and your fellow classmates interviewing Darrell. Participation is encouraged, and of course his car will be on display.
The formal press conference is at 11AM, and sessions open to all will be held at 12:05PM, 3:30PM, and 6PM. Encourage your whole family to attend!
