I need your help in identifying outstanding students who might benefit from and enjoy an Honors course or seminar. Over the next few days, I will place several Honors course applications listing our Spring 2013 offerings in your mailbox. Please distribute these applications to students you think have the curiosity, creativity, and academic talent necessary to succeed in Honors. Please keep in mind that all Honors courses are Writing Intensive, and can be quite demanding for under-prepared students and students that have not developed good study and work habits. Before distributing the applications, please complete the line marked Faculty/Staff recommendation.
Many of our finest students enter the program because of the encouragement they receive from you. As I’m sure you are aware, MCC is filled students who blossom academically because of the support and challenge that you provide.
