Non-Traditional Student Week!

Non-Traditional Student Week is a national celebration held in the first week of November. It brings awareness of what being a non-traditional student means and some of the insurmountable obstacles faced. Non-traditional students are above the age of 24, have families, hold employment in addition to their studies, or have experienced life-altering events such as being in the military or becoming a primary caregiver.

MCC’s Admissions Office, Academic Advisement & Graduation Office, Counseling Center & Veteran Services, Career and Transfer Center, the Writing Center, Financial Aid, the Teaching & Creativity Center, and the Rochester Area College Continuing Education Association have come together to sponsor a whole week of activities for students, faculty, and staff.

Please see the attached flier for schedule of events. Kick off begins at Noon on the Brighton Campus Flynn Campus Center Terrace. See you there!
