Attention: Teaching Faculty and those who have close interaction with students in an academic way
You are invited to participate in a Faculty Voices <https://www.league.org/facultyvoices> discussion group at Monroe Community College. Faculty Voices is a League for Innovation project with a goal of engaging community college faculty in the national conversation about student success and completion. The project is using national surveys, faculty discussion groups, social media, and faculty-authored articles and blogs to identify and report the perspectives of community college faculty on issues, challenges, and effective practices related to student learning, success, and completion.
Discussion sessions, led by an external facilitator from the project, last 2 hours, and participants should plan to be there for the entire session. The discussion groups will be small, with 8 to 15 participants each. Light refreshments will be provided for participants.

Faculty Voices Discussions will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015, in the Board Lounge at the following times. In your reply, please indicate your ranked preferences of sessions. Themes that emerge from discussion groups being held across the United States will be compiled, in aggregate, into a report designed to inform educators, administrators, association and foundation staff, and policy makers about faculty perspectives on student success and completion. Participants in each discussion session will leave with a list of themes that emerged in that session, for reference in future conversations with colleagues.
