2nd Annual Sustainability Circular Cycle Ride, May 4th, 2017

Celebrate National Bike Month and MCC’s national recognition as a Bike Friendly University by joining Jim Downer and MCC’s Cycling Council for the 2nd Annual Sustainability Circular Cycle Ride on Thursday, May 4th, at 11:53 a.m. on the Brighton Campus in front of the Spina Administration Building at the flagpoles.

The ride begins at 12:03 p.m. and ends at 12:49 p.m., and will take place rain or shine. Cyclists will be riding Campus Drive with a modest goal of 5 laps (10 miles). It is not a race -- ride at your own pace.

Riders are required to wear a helmet. Wearing high-vis yellow clothing is a good idea.

In preparation for cycling season, MCC’s Cycling Council will be hosting Fix a bicycle Flat Friday, April 28, 12:03 – 2:57 p.m. on the Brighton Campus outside of Bldg. 4 in the Courtyard, by the Sculpture Garden. If it rains, the event will move inside to the Photography Studio in Room 4-117. Free patches and air* will be supplied, as long as supplies last.

Above events are sponsored by MCC’s Sustainability Steering Committee, the Wellness Council, MCC’s Cycling Council and the MCC Student Cycling Club.
