Engineering Science students Kierstyn Dodson, Katie Eberhart, Aviriana Follett, and Computer Science student Greg Landon-Langlois were the guest speakers at Edison High School’s after school program on Thursday, April 16. Kierstyn discussed the attributes that make a successful engineering student, while Katie outlined all the co-curricular activities that are available to engineering students at MCC. Aviriana gave an impassioned description of the challenges and fun that a first year engineering student experiences. Greg concluded the program with a demonstration of his unmanned aircraft and robotic hand. The MCC students informally interacted with the Edison students at dinner after the program.
