NISOD Innovation Abstracts, Vol. XXVI, No. 29

In "Marketing Fundamentals Trade Show Project," Glenda Eckert, instructor of arts and sciences at Oklahoma State University-Okmulgee, describes a unique project that allowed her students to stretch their imaginations and polish their professionalism while they manned their booths for a special day. This project ultimately involved students from a variety of writing classes and outside guests-all of whom gave the effort their stamp of approval and their vote to make it a tradition.

"The One-Minute Motivator," by Joyce Robinson, instructor of nursing at Shelton State Community College (Ala.), reminds us that sometimes the simplest strategies are surprising successes. Her "thought for the day" continues to be a hit with students.
