The MCC Chapters of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) and the National Institute for Leadership Development (NILD) have “adopted” three families of Hurricane Katrina evacuees who are settling in Rochester at Wilson Commencement Park.
The MCC community has responded with donations of clothing and toys. Many have asked that the collection period be extended. Please continue to bring contributions to the collection points through next Thursday, October 27th. Monetary donations are still needed as are cleaning supplies and children’s clothes.
