Hollowell's Book Makes Required Text List at Harvard

Jonathan Hollowell's recently published book, "Britain since 1945," is now being used at Harvard University. Harvard's Department of Government has required the book for some courses including Contemporary British Politics. Hollowell is a faculty member in Anthropology/History/Political Science/Sociology.

According to Peter Jay, former BBC economics editor and British Ambassador to the U.S., "Jonathan Hollowell's fresh look at Britain's post-war story departs in important ways from standard cliches and captures instead the positive excitement for many of the country's new post-war self-belief. It should be read by all those looking for a refreshing alternative to the standard histories."
