Damon City Campus Entrance Revisited

We extend our thanks for the feedback received on the previous Tribune announcement regarding the Damon City Campus entrance changes.   After further consideration we have decided that beginning Monday, June 8, 2015, the Department of Public Safety will initiate a program at the Damon City Campus whereby all students, faculty, staff and visitors will be directed to the 4th floor entrance in order to gain access to the campus.  The 5th floor Public Safety Desk will remain unstaffed throughout the summer months.

The 4th floor desk will be staffed throughout the summer months Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and on Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Card access entry into the fifth floor continues to be available for all faculty and staff.

Please know that the plan is to have this program implemented ONLY during the summer months.  As the program is monitored throughout the summer, we encourage anyone with a comment, concern or suggestion to contact the DCC Public Safety supervisor, Lt. Ray Sprague at 262-1650 or <mailto:rsprague@monroecc.edu>.

We again thank the DCC community for providing invaluable feedback as we work to continue to provide a safe, accessible and supportive learning environment for students, faculty and staff at the current location with a vision toward the future.
