Res Life Appreciates its Resident Assistants

Known for their uncanny perspective on student living here at MCC, the Resident Assistants (RA’s) of the Alice Holloway Young Commons could fill your afternoon with tales, stories, and notable commentary of their roles and life in the Residence Halls.  This robust group of young leaders helps our department administer and provide for the 406 residential students on campus.  Their duties and responsibilities require them to perform to high standards and challenge them to work outside their comfort zones. Their contribution to MCC’s housing program is difficult to measure, and can only be fittingly summed up in; we couldn’t do what we need to do, or as well as we do it, if not for their efforts.

For these efforts; the programming requirements, weekend duties, late night sessions of counsel, roommate mediation, last minute requests, and for all that is asked of these students…we recognize them this week (4/30-5/4).

Please join the Housing and Residence Life Department in appreciation of the hard work our RA’s perform for the campus community.  Might we encourage you to recognize an RA this week? I’m sure they would love to hear from you.
