Get Out The Vote at MCC

All faculty are invited to share voter registration forms with their students and colleagues to get everyone registered for November's election.

The campus-wide event is part the SUNY Voter Empowerment Challenge, which runs now through Oct. 1. SUNY has challenged its 64 colleges and universities - with nearly 400,000 students and 28,000 academic and professional faculty - to get as many of its students, faculty and staff registered to vote. The campus with the highest number, based on the percentage of enrollment, will receive a campus event on or near Election Day to include a celebrity or artist speech.

In support, MCC students will distribute registration forms in many different ways throughout the Brighton and Damon campuses through the end of September. Faculty can pick up blank forms and drop off completed ones in a drop box in the faculty mail room at the Brighton Campus. Information will be forthcoming for Damon City Campus faculty.
