Federal Work Study for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014

Federal Work Study for the 2012-13 academic year ends soon with the last day a student can work May 23, 2013.  If a student works after this date, we will not be responsible to pay him or her.  Additionally, if you prefer your student to continue working, you can contact Cynthia Clark in Human Resources (HR) and request the student to continue working as a ‘Student Aide’ under your departmental budget.

July 1, 2013, is the first day a student can work under the Federal Work Study (FWS) program for the 2013-14 academic year.  To be considered for FWS, a student must have filed a Financial Aid Application for Free Federal Aid (FAFSA) for the 2013-2014 academic year and must meet academic eligibility requirements.

If you have any questions, please contact Carol Dayes at <mailto:cdayes@monroecc.edu> at the Brighton Campus or Edie Horwath at <mailto:ehorwath@monroecc.edu> at the Damon City Campus.

Thanks.
