Please join me in congratulating Annette Agness who began her new responsibilities as Director of the MCC Association, Inc. on Monday, August 1, 2005. Following a nationwide search, Annette emerged as the successful candidate from a very strong field of candidates.
Annette has served as the Finance Manager and Treasurer of the MCC Association for the past six years. As the manager of the accounting and business office functions, she oversaw the finances for the Association's annual $14 million budget. Included in the Association's budget are the MCC Bookstore, the Child Care Center, Housing and Residence Life, the MCC Student Association, MCC's co-curricular programs, Athletics, Intramurals, recreational activities, food services and vending.
Prior to her employment at MCC, Annette worked for EDS as a financial analyst, American HomePatient/PrimaCare as Accounting Operations Manager, the Health Science Center Foundation at Syracuse, Inc. as Financial Manager and as a CPA with two accounting firms. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University and is registered in New York as a Certified Public Accountant.
