Ebony Caldwell Presented at NCORE

Ebony Caldwell, Project Director for Title III - Building a Culture of Engagement and Success, co-presented "The Mentoring Institute: A Collaborative Space to Build and Develop NCORE Professional Networks" on May 31, 2017, at the 30th Annual National Conference On Race and Ethnicity In American Higher Education held in Fort Worth, Texas. This interactive session engaged participants interested in serving as mentors or interested in receiving mentorship. The participants were provided practical information about the different purposes and types of mentor experiences, including sponsoring, championing, coaching, and advising roles.

Dr. Caldwell also served on the panel for the pre-conference institute, Aspire: The Administrative Institute for Women of Color. The goal of the institute is to increase the number of women of color in leadership. The panel engaged in a discussion with questions posed by a moderator followed by a roundtable discussion on topics including education and advancement, family and culture, and navigating institutional politics.
