Residence Hall Applications Now Accepted at MCC

Students interested in living in new residence halls at Monroe Community College can now apply for housing placement for the 2003-04 academic year.

Four- and five-person, furnished suites in three new residence halls will feature a kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room and bedrooms. Most of the suites are for four people and have single bedrooms. The five-person suites have two double bedrooms and one single bedroom.

Students have the option of a nine-month or 12-month housing contract. Under a nine-month contract, the fee for a single bedroom in a suite is $2,300 per semester; the fee for a double is $2,000 per semester.

The residence halls can accommodate about 400 students. Interested students are encouraged to apply early. Housing assignments will be made in May.

Applications are available on the MCC Web site, www.monroecc.edu . Use the search engine or the A-Z Index to find "residence halls." Applications are also available at the College's Brighton Campus Student Center Desk, Admissions Office, and Student Services Office, and the Campus Center at the Damon City Campus.

More information is available on the Web site, by e-mailing residencehalls@monroecc.edu, or by calling the 585-292-3674.
