Article on "Stand Against Racism" Includes MCC's Events


The April 26 edition of the Democrat and Chronicle contains an interview with MCC faculty member Dina Giovanelli for an article previewing “Stand Against Racism” events happening today through Sunday, April 27-29, at MCC and across the region.

Giovanelli (Sociology) will be among the panelists in the “Racism Without Racists” discussion from 2 to 3:30 p.m. today on the Brighton Campus, Room 8-200. Other panelists are MCC faculty Natasha Chen Christensen (Sociology) and Tokeya Graham (English/Philosophy). From 4 to 5 p.m., members of the college community are invited to convene on the front lawn of the Brighton Campus to take a symbolic stand against racism.
