In "Team-Based Learning," Nicole Korzetz, Psychology Instructor, at Lee College (TX), describes a strategy for getting students more involved before and during class, successfully reducing the frequency of "bewildered" and "overwhelmed" looks resulting from little or no preparation for classroom participation. Students come more prepared and are better able to participate and contribute in individual and group class activities.
