Awards Recognize MCC, MCCF Projects

MCC and the MCC Foundation have won two awards in the 2015 SUNYCUAD Awards for Excellence program. The program honors the best work in advancement offices throughout the 64-campus SUNY system and looks specifically for outcomes and assessments.

The MCC Foundation won a Best of Category Award in the Electronic Communications and Interactive Media Category for their 2013-2014 Annual Report website. This was the first online annual report for the Foundation. Instead of the traditional magazine format report, most donors received a postcard directing them to the new site to learn how their contributions made an impact on students at MCC. The website was developed by Dixon Schwabl and can be found at
https://www.mccfannualreport.org/#momentum.

The Marketing and Community Relations Department earned a Judges’ Citation Award in the Advertising Category for its integrated marketing campaign aimed at Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 student recruitment and the overall brand perception. The award nomination package highlighted the program’s goals, strategy, efficient use of resources, and results. (If you’d like to learn more about MCC’s marketing campaign, please ask Director of Marketing and Community Relations Deb Davis for a copy of the award nomination.)

The SUNYCUAD Awards for Excellence presentation will occur Thursday, June 4 at its annual educational conference, this year held in Rochester.

Congratulations to all those involved in creating these award-winning programs.
