The Office of Service-Learning needs artists and/or photographers to help create a publication during the Fall 2006 semester. We are putting together a book of student service-learning reflections, which describe the personal impact of service on our students' lives as well as the impact of their hard work on the community. We would like to include professional art and photography to go along with these reflections - for instance we may ask a photographer to take pictures of MCC students serving in a school or painting a mural on campus. This is an excellent opportunity to have your work published in a book that will reach hundreds of people at the College, around Rochester and throughout the country.
There is a potential for academic and service credit for this project, whether through an independent study or Service-Learning 101. Service-Learners in SVL 101 may also be eligible for work-study.
