New! Late Start Class


The Career Center is pleased to announce a new late start, one credit course - Job Search Strategies CDL 115-001. This new course will assist students with skills assessment, resume and cover letter development, networking and interviewing techniques, and using the Internet as a research tool for job seekers. The class will meet for 11 weeks on Wednesdays, 2:00-3:20 p.m. February 28th-May 16th, 2007 in the MCC Career Center Library, Building 3-108 on the Brighton Campus. 

Course description: Learning how to look for a job is a valuable skill students should acquire as they begin their professional career. This comprehensive job search strategies course includes skills assessment, resume and cover letter development, networking, interviewing techniques, employment applications, and the use of Internet resources for research. The ultimate goal is to help students develop an effective job search plan.  Prerequisite is ENG 101.
