Workshop Overview:
EQ vs. IQ
New information on the importance of communication/people skills
Perception/Miscommunication
Discuss the role that perception and nonverbals have in interpersonal communication; listening skills that can be used as perception-checking tools are introduced
Meetings/"Off-the-Cuff" Situations
What to do about nervousness; utilizing "I" statements to express opinions in the work environment
Group Exercise
Participants will be given the opportunity to rehearse new skills and get immediate feedback
