MCC soccer players Anne Beinetti and Anthony Pipitone were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Beinetti was named Most Valuable Player as the MCC women's soccer team defeated Bryant & Stratton 4-1 in the Region III championship game. The sophomore scored two goals as the Lady Tribunes won their 11th straight regional title and 22nd overall.
Pipitone was named MVP of the men's final as MCC defeated Bryant & Stratton on penalty kicks for the team's 15th Region III title. The freshman goalkeeper made six saves, many in acrobatic fashion.
