The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC), MCC student nurses, Sodexo, the Wellness Council, and the American Heart Association are sponsoring “Go Red” in support of the American Heart Association. We ask that you wear red to support the AAWCC’s annual heart health awareness day: “Go Red for Women.”
AAWCC members are encouraged to join us for group photographs organized at both the Damon City and Brighton campuses. Join us at noon on Thursday February 5th at the Damon City Campus in the 5th Floor Atrium and Friday, February 6th at noon on the Brighton Campus in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium. Sample heart-healthy snacks provided by Sodexo, learn facts about heart health, and have your blood pressure checked. Pictures will be taken at 12:20.
A suggested $5 donation can be made payable at the event or sent in advance to any of the AAWCC members listed on the Go Red Campus Contacts section of the attached flyer. All checks should be made payable to the American Heart Association.
