On May 28th, Academy for Veterans’ Success Coordinator Eric Wheeler presented at the Enhancing Services for SUNY Veterans conference in Albany, NY. Eric’s workshop session, "Professional Development for Supporting Student Veterans," focused on the Supporting Transitioning and Returning Service Members (STARS) program that MCC developed to educate faculty and staff on issues confronting veterans as they transition from the armed forces to higher education.
