Many colleges are discovering that when students, faculty and staff have the opportunity to express themselves through the arts and cultural programs, it can be crucial to developing effective strategies for broader appreciation of global interests and better understanding of each other. It is an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to learn about different cultures and to express themselves through the arts.
To all faculty, staff and students -- we are still looking for MCC talent. Those of you who take the arts seriously and appreciate how diversity is expressed through the arts come and show off your talents. We are holding additional auditions for our main event on April 24th, in the Theater. There will be a first and second place winner in each given category ($150.00 for first place winners and $50.00 for second place winners) in the areas of singing, dancing, spoken word/poetry and art display pieces.
Check out our flyer and attend one of these dates to audition. For more information please contact the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development (3-126) or call 292-2534.
