Recently the Faculty Senate approved changes to Resolution 1.9 Student Rights/ Academic Grievance Procedure. One of the new changes is to offer faculty who are going through the grievance process an advisor to help them through the process, much the same way students have an advisor to help them complete the paperwork.
There would be a short training session and then whenever a need arises, you would be contacted to determine if you are available to serve.
