College Green Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony


On September 24, a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new college green took place to celebrate the completion of $3.6 million in transportation flow improvement projects on the Brighton Campus. The projects include a roundabout, relocation of RTS buses, new parking locations and systems, and disbursement of student drop-off and pick-up locations.

The ribbon cutters are shown in the attached picture and from left to right are: Bill Carpenter, CEO of RGRTA; Grace Tillinghast, Vice Chair of the MCC Board of Trustees; County Executive Maggie Brooks; Steven Poloznik, MCC Student Trustee; John Bartolotta, Chair of the MCC Board of Trustees; President Anne Kress; Bill Moehle, Brighton Town Supervisor; Vice President Heze Simmons; and Peter Spina, President Emeritus.
