The Peer Mentors invite the college community to participate in the annual Durand Eastman Beach Clean Up, on Saturday, September 20, 2008, sponsored by the International Waters Commission of the Great Lakes. This is a great volunteer opportunity to both help beautify the beaches of the Great Lakes, as well as to help fight pollution.
Those interested can meet at 9:00 a.m. in Lot A off of Lakeshore Boulevard. If you have work gloves, please bring them. Other cleaning materials will be provided.
