News from the MCC Board of Trustees


The MCC Board of Trustees held its meeting in the Warshof Conference Center on the Brighton Campus on Monday, December 3 and took the following actions:

1.      Accepted the interim financial reports as of August 31, September 30 and October 31, 2012.

2.      Authorized the purchase of items of $20,000 for August, September and October 2012.

3.      Amended the 2011-12 operating expenses from the budgeted amount of $123,780,000 to  the final adjusted amount of $118,692,186 in accordance with the annual financial report for the year ended August 31, 2012.

4.      Approved the annual financial report to SUNY for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2012.

5.      Approved the annual audit report for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2012 as submitted by Bonadio & Co., LLP.

6.      Approved the selection of PFM Asset Management, LLC, as the college’s investment advisor.

7.      Authorized the transfer of funds between accounts.

8.      Conducted an executive session pursuant to Public Officers Law 105, subsections e and h.


The board also heard presentations by Jean Close of Bonadio & Co. and David Mack, chair of the MCC Foundation Board of Directors.
