Stress Reduction Opportunities Offered During Exam Week


In the interest of promoting health and wellness at a very busy time of year, the department of Health & Physical Education is providing the following opportunities for exercise, meditation and hopefully some stress reduction.  These offerings are open to the entire college community; students, faculty, administrators, staff.  Please take a few moments for yourself…your body will appreciate it!

Cardio Bootcamp– led by Patricia Finnigan 
Monday, 12/17/07 and Wednesday, 12/19/07 from 12:00-1:00pm in the Dance Studio, Bldg 10-143. 

Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes required.  

Step Aerobics– led by Barbara Litterio
Tuesday, 12/18/07 from 4:30-5:30 pm in the Dance Studio, Bldg. 10-143.  Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes required.  

Labyrinth Walking and meditation– visit our new Labyrinth located in the Dance Studio, Bldg. 10-143. Allow yourself a minimum of 15 minutes to walk the path as you temporarily release your concerns and quiet your mind.  Or, sit quietly and use a finger labyrinth to aid you in your meditation.  A facilitator will be available to provide guidance as well as informational handouts on this walking experience.  Open Tuesday, 12/18/07 and Thursday, 12/20/07 from 10:00am– 1:00pm.
