Free meals and information!  Participants also receive a Tops $50 gift card after completing the series.  Project CHANCE is a free 9-week workshop series on parenting, nutrition and active play for children and families.  The series is a collaborative program sponsored by the DCC Wellness Center and offered through Cornell University Cooperative Extension.  The project is open to all parents/caregivers of children ages 3-12.  CHANCE is hands-on!  Participants prepare and taste delicious & nutritious foods.  CHANCE clears up nutrition confusion to help participants make healthier choices and CHANCE empowers parents to be good role models.  All sessions are from 12 - 1:30 every Monday on the Damon City Campus.  Sessions begin on February 26, 2007.  DCC students may leave early for course conflicts, if necessary.  Students can stop by the DCC Wellness Center, 4-004, by the fourth floor lounge to sign up or receive additional information.
