MCC's anti-virus e-mail product is successfully blocking the "MyDoom" virus/worm but we are still at risk of it entering our network through user activities on external Web sites and file sharing services.
ETS will be proactively monitoring these threats and attempting to block entry ports deemed high risk until such time the risk of this virus/worm has passed.
ETS will post daily updates on what is being blocked on our ETS TechNEWS site. We encourage the entire college community to check TechNEWS frequently for updates.
