The inaugural meeting for the Grants Workshop Series is scheduled for Monday, November 6, 2006, during the College Hour (12:00-1:00 p.m.) in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B). The series will cover the gamut of all aspects of grantsmanship from idea to proposal, and feature a variety of presenters. The first workshop, facilitated by Tish Williams (Grants Director), will cover how to conduct Web searches for public funding sources, what a Request for Proposal (RFP) is and how to read one, also how to create a timeline to submit a proposal. Come learn how to begin to turn your great idea into a winning proposal! Please feel free to bring your lunch.
