In preparation for its upcoming degree in Creative Writing, MCC is pleased to offer two new creative writing courses during the Fall 2013 semester:
- ENG 233: Creative Writing Workshop—Poetry (CRN 19360, Professor Tony Leuzzi, <mailto:aleuzzi@monroecc.edu>)
- ENG 263: Creative Writing Workshop—Short Fiction (CRN 19357, Professor Chris Perri, <mailto:cperri@monroecc.edu>)
These workshops are designed for students interested in advancing their skills. Emphasis will be on exploring different approaches to the genre and on drafting, workshopping, and revising original work within the genre. Please note that there is a prerequisite of ENG 213 (Creative Writing) with a C or higher. If a student does not meet this prerequisite, however, and is still interested in one of the courses, that student may contact the professor (listed above) directly.
