Sing the Song of the Sea with Celtic Society

On Thursday, 7 May at 6 p.m. in 12-129, please join Celtic Society for a screening and discussion of SONG OF THE SEA, the final film in the 2014-2015 Celtic film series,.

"Saoirse, a little girl who can turn into a seal, goes on an adventure with her brother to save the spirit world and other magical beings like her" (IMDb). Based on the Celtic myth of the selkie, a seal who transforms into a woman and takes a human lover, SONG OF THE SEA--created by the filmmaker who brought us THE SECRET OF KELLS--is a beautifully animated film full of mystery, magic, music, and family-friendly fun.

Light refreshments will be served.

Celtic Society's purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora. It aims to share and celebrate Celtic culture with the college community. Celtic Society welcomes all students, faculty, and employees, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.
